Uploading a Product List to Your LinkskyVISUAL Online Store

Having an online store with a wide range of products can be difficult to manage, especially if you need to change minor details on a regular basis - clicking on each product to make a change is time-consuming!

The best way to manage your online store product catalog is by using a CSV file of your products and importing it to your LinkskyVISUAL Online Store. You create this type of file using a program such as Microsoft Excel. The file is stored on your computer and lists all the products you sell, as well as all the properties such as price, description, weight etc.

The easiest way to import a CSV file with a list of your products is to first create a product in your store, and then use that as the basis for the CSV file you would like to upload. Here's how to do this:

1.     Log into LinkskyVISUAL.
2.     Click on Online Store in the top menu.
3.     Click the pink "Add/Edit Products+" button.
4.     Click "New Product".
5.     Add a new product.
6.     Click "Save" and then click "Back to the Beginning"

The product you have acts as a template for your CSV file. All you need to do now is export this product to your spreadsheet editor, add your products and upload the CSV file to your online store. Here's how to do this.

1.     Click on the check box next to the product you have just created.
2.     Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Export All".
3.     In the menu that comes up, select "Semicolon" as the delimiter.
4.     Click on "Download CSV" file.
5.     Open the downloaded CSV file in your spreadsheet editor.
6.     Use this file as an example and template for creating a CSV file with all of your products.
7.     When you've created your product list, save it.
8.     Log into LinkskyVISUAL.
9.     Click on Online Store in the top menu.
10.     Click the pink "Add/Edit Products+" button.
11.     Once in the product list, click on "Import products".
12.     Select the file you would like to upload.
13.     Scroll down and select "Import".
14.     Your products will now populate the product list.

Once you've created this file, editing it is really easy, and you don't need to create a new file every time you add products. Simply edit the CSV file on your computer and follow the steps to import the file. Your product list will be updated accordingly.
